DIN6 Skiving internal helical gear housing in high precision gears
DIN6 is the accuracy of the internal helical gear. Usually we have two ways to meet high accuracy.
1) Hobbing and grinding for internal gears
2) Power skiving for internal gear
However for small internal helical gear, hobbing is not easy to process, so normally we would do power skiving to meet the high accuracy and also high efficiency. For big internal helical gear, we will use hobbing plus grinding method. After power skiving or grinding, middle carton steel like 42CrMo will do nitriding to increase the hardness and resistance.
